"IF YOU FALL"

Sometimes it takes a lot to get a five star
rating from me but I really like this one. What makes me happy is the way this
record comes together. There is nothing complex, no heavy vibes or hard beats.
It is just a smooth groove that goes way underground. It also includes gentle
house movements that take hold and lets your dancers be creative by letting the
music consume their souls. To complete the dish, an array of spices are added by
vocalist Tabitha Byng that are just delightful. The name Ad Finem is Latin word
that means "for eternity". This was inspired by Byng who is a poet and who has
taken it from late 19th Century poet Ella Wheeler Wilcox. "If You
Fall" has two very smooth house mixes. The M.A.S. Collective Noosa Mix spinning
at 127 BPM. This delicious new vinyl has been put together by DJ/producer Greg
"Stryke" Chin and Tabitha Byng and should be able to prove its longevity as it
strives for its eternity with the greatness of this precious platter.

It’s a really strong vocal record, and from what I gather, everyone from Sasha to Graeme Park is playing it. It’s one of those records that it’s impossible to dislike, whatever music you’re into. A must for everyone.

Continuing their duel-headed approach of
garage-influenced house and dirty tribal numbers, Harlequin have combined the
two to great effect. With a sweet vocal and deep chords, this could have got
lost but for the crashing tribal production that backs it up. Balancing the two
must have been tricky but the results but the results are worth it. All elements
are given the full attention for a production that could handle progressive or
garage mixes but needs neither
