TINA TUNA vs. ALAN T
"LA-TINA TWEEK"
DMA - AUG 2001
Playing on the recent success of "The Door"
remixes, camp queen Alan T returns to dance floors via producer Albert Camara
under the harlequin imprint. This time out, the monologue our ears greet
is even more outrageous then before. With references to everything from
crystal meth and the male genitalia to Miami's own Cuban raft boy, Elian
Gonzalez, this record will outrage a few while entertaining the masses in high
bitchy style. Add to all this controversy a sizzling tribal track that
could easily stand on its own (but you'll be so glad it doesn't), and you have a
record that simply will not ignored. In the words of Alan T, this is "the
other white meat". Bravo!!
