LACONIC
"FRESH AIR"
DMA Magazine - SEP / OCT 2001
Writer/producer Tim Roseborough steps up to the
plate for an intriguing hybrid of Ibiza and Twilo on "Fresh Air" dreamy keys and
a funky, Stardust-like bass line combined with New Order-style synths and
square, tribal accented four-to-the-floor beats for a rather unique sounding
track. Vocalist Mona works the "I need fresh air" loop that serves as the songs
focal point, while the flipside is an even more unique amalgam that works a
crazy synth riff into oblivion before evaporating into warm, sunrise-style
organs. Either choice is an intriguing one... if you're looking for
something a bit different this summer, "Fresh Air" may be it.
