As The night progresses, so do the beats. At Blue Lounge on Thursday
nights, DJ Soulman is at the decks spinning deep house music with Latin
influences. "My goal is to make people have a good time and dance. The
sound is definitely not lounge, despite the club being more of a loungey place.
"I usually start mellow with R&B, progressing into harder and deeper house as the night goes on. I love playing in this intimate environment for a smaller crowd. You can see everyone's faces and see them going off," says DJ Soulman. And the CD, Blue Lounge presents Groove Thang will definitely set you off in a booty-shaking frenzy with some rocking vocal house and funky tech-house tracks.
